Anvil Mobile Limited understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your personal data is used. We respect and value the privacy of all our customers and will only collect and use personal data in a way that is consistent with our obligations and your rights under law. Since May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has applied to all data we hold about our customers.

We keep your personal information private and secure. We will not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your personal information to anyone except as necessary to provide our services. Anvil Mobile is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office number Z2022335.

Please refer to our Cookie Policy for details on how we use cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, or any other analytics, advertising or tracking service, on this website. In line with most websites, some information such as your IP address and the date and time of your visit is recorded in our server logs. We only collect the data that is necessary to perform legitimate business services.

Where you choose to get in touch through the website, we collect what you give us. Our enquiry form takes your name, email address, telephone number and message, and raises a ticket in our service desk so we can answer you. Our newsletter form takes your email address. If you order from our shop, your order and payment details are handled by Shopify. If you use our live chat, your conversation is handled on our behalf by Moneypenny. Each of these suppliers acts on our instructions and uses your data for no other purpose.

GDPR

The confidentiality and security of your data has always been very important to Anvil. We have completed reviews to ensure that your data is held only for legitimate reasons and in a secure manner within our systems as well as, if applicable, by our suppliers.
All staff and management are aware of the scope and impact of GDPR. We have a Data Protection Policy and we provide information security training to all staff that includes handling confidential data, data retention and data disposal. We have enhanced our processes to ensure compliance with the new requirements and we will continue to do through testing and reviewing this, at a minimum, annually.
